Ghosts

You can find this Ventian style Day of the Dead skull here.

What does the Day of the Dead have to do with a sunny day in March? Nothing much except that I'm finding it hard to get in the mood to write my DotD story. It's a ghost story and I think it can be really good. Just need a little push to get into it. I've started it..got 2k done on it. Of course, that leaves me 33k left to write. Yikes! I want it finished far ahead of its deadline.

Guess I need to find some scary movies to watch to get me in the mood. Trouble is, I don't like horror movies or scary movies for that matter.

Anyone have any suggestions on how I can jumpstart my story?

Happy St. Patrick's Day

Have fun celebrating, but can someone tell me what's going on with Denny's? The third shooting in a week or so at restuarants in that chain. Hmm...I wonder if it's another restuarant chain trying to build up bad press for Denny's.

Assassin Up For Parole

RFK's assassin up for Parole in CA.

As strange as it might sound, I find this fascinating. He gets a chance at having his case heard by a parole board, but it's so highly unlikely that he'll be granted parole. The poor man has to know this. He's in prison for murdering one of the most famous people in American history. Plus RFK's neice is married to the Governor of CA. No way is it possible Sirhan Sirhan will see the light of day without bars again.

Interesting fact for the day.

Josh

Here's Josh...great inspiration, don't you think?

Getting away

I would prefer to be here today...basking on some beach or out on some boat..floating in the sea..listening to the waves. Instead I'm here slaving away working on the next scene for Plain Jane. My muse for that story showed up and demanded his side of the story. Paige had him punch Jane in the eye. Now I get to get him out of trouble...lol

Mystery Solved

Whew! I was really worried about this whole thing. I wanted to know what country I had to go to and leave flowers on old Chris' grave.

Sad news

Not only has Kirby Puckett died at 45. Now Dana Reeves is dead at 44 from lung cancer.

Now if you know anything about baseball, you know Kirby played for the Minnesota Twins and was a good role model for young players until his career was cut short by an eye disease. He was struck down by a stroke. He'll be sorely missed.

Dana Reeves came to the forefront of the public eye when her husband, Christopher Reeves, sustained a paralysing neck injury during a fall from a horse. She stood by him in his fight for spinal cord research. After she lost him, she was diagnosed with lung cancer. She lost her fight with that terrible disease.

Prayers go out to both families. Your loved ones made the world a better place for the brief moment they were here.

Another day-another man

This man is an awesome actor. I loved him in A Knight's Tale. :) Master and Commander with Russell Crowe...oh my. What I wouldn't do to get stuck on a ship with these two...lol

Woo-Hoo! #1 at Fictionwise

You're asking yourself what does Russell Crowe have to do with me being #1 at Fictionwise? Nothing at all...I just love the picture...lol.

FALLEN: DANIELLE is ranked #1 on the highest rating section of Erotica at Fictionwise. And my other book, A FAERIE TALE is #3 as well. Yay!

Isn't he very drool worthy? Especially as Maximus. I'd love to have him come to my rescue or defend my honor...lol. :)

The Veil: Heaven & Hell

Figured since I wrote this up last night, I'd share it with everyone. The Veil: Heaven & Hell will be my next release...sometime in the summer from Loose-Id. :)

The Veil: Heaven & Hell (c) 2006 Tiffany Aaron

Beltaine and Kalan have completed the first part of their mission. They’ve retrieved the book for the Devil and things should be easier for them, but the situation is getting worse. The Veil continues to rip and now the Devil’s life is at stake.

Beltaine never thought she’d have to save the ruler of Hell from a mortal. She never believed she’d fall in love with anyone-angel or mortal-but here she is hoping God would be kind to her just once.

Kalan has learned a lot after spending time with Beltaine. The most important lesson; everything is not as it seems. Beltaine has opened his eyes to the seamier side of the world, but he’s in for the shock of his life.

Will love keep this demon and her angel alive? Is their strength enough to save Hell when Heaven comes to call?

Picture to drool over.

Just so you don't think this blog is only a shameless plug for my books (even though we all know it is...lol) I thought I'd leave you with a picture of Viggo Mortenson...one of my favorite yummy actors. :) Enjoy.

I Am Woman...Hear Me Roar

I came home tonight to find the door handle on my front door had broken. So I call my dh and ask him how exactly I was supposed to get inside. He says "Oh, I meant to tell you it broke this morning." Thanks, dear.

I got inside after a little breaking and entering. Tear the door knob apart trying to fix it. Found out a thingie on the inside was broke, so headed to the local hardware store for a new knob. By the time my dh came home from work, I had the new door knob on. All he had to do was tighten the screws.

Woo-hoo!
